Plunge the ribs into the rub so that they are thoroughly coated.
Shake off the loose stuff and place each one in the rack. |

Here you have the sauce… Notice another “secret” ingredient… the Maple Syrup. Don’t use too much.
Proportions in this batch are a little more than a cup of Famous Dave’s Rich and Sassy, about a half cup of Jack Daniels, and a little less than a quarter cup of maple syrup. |

After a while, at least twenty minutes, the ribs get darker as the moisture soaks through the rub.
Once they are thoroughly darkened it is time to put them in the oven. |
